These are the documented facts about his illegal and abusive detention by the
government of the Philippines:
Jared Allen Kasper is an American songwriter and musician most known for his charitable work in poverty stricken areas in the Philippines, donating all proceeds from his music to help in pediatric urgent care cases (children with cancer, and other life threatening conditions) as well as donating to community welfare programs that help struggling families.
Jared Allen Kasper was scheduled to testify in 4 high profile criminal cases in Cebu City, Philippines in late November and December 2023. These are criminal cases that involve public figures of the media and their accomplices. The defendants (whose criminal trials are already in progress and having been arrested and having made bail) who in an elaborate scheme, used their media influence to obtain a political favor from a powerful Senator in the Philippines to call in a political favor to the Commissioner of the Bureau of Immigrations. As a result of fabricated, baseless, and unverified lies... Jared Allen Kasper was put on the "Blacklist" and detained by the Government of the Philippines on November 18, 2023 as a result of this "political favor". This was done without any notice, or the due process as required by law, and for no justifiable reason other than to prevent him from testifying against the defendants. Being added to the Blacklist was also done to prevent him from EVER returning to the Philippines to clear his name or expose the corruption by the government of the Philippines.
Upon his arrival on Saturday November 18, 2023 at Terminal 1, NAIA Manila, Jared Allen Kasper was detained by the Filipino government. His passport, phone, and luggage was confiscated. (The guards did not find the 2nd phone he had in his back pocket) He was held in what could only be described as a "Black site", with 24 hour guards to watch and record his every move.
"Black sites" are clandestine detention centers operated by a state where prisoners who have not been charged with a crime are incarcerated without due process or court order, are often mistreated and denied civil and human rights, and have no recourse to bail.
Note: All photos and videos presented here are actual photos and videos taken from the "Black site" at NAIA in Manila by Jared Allen Kasper during his detainment using a 2nd cell phone he had in his back pocket at the time of his arrival. He used caution when taking photos and videos not to be discovered. Almost all photos were taken when the guards fell sleep on duty or when they were distracted or not present.
Saturday November 18, 2023 0540 hours:
Jared Allen Kasper was able to send a message to his legal team in Cebu City before his primary phone was confiscated, alerting them to his detainment. His legal team then recruited a law firm in Manila to petition to Filipino government for his release, and to allow his travel to Cebu City for his testimony. However, the petition was ignored by the Bureau of Immigrations.
NOTE: Although he demanded to see any documentation regarding his detainment, even up until his release....NO DOCUMENTATION WAS EVER RECEIVED by Jared Allen Kasper or his legal team.
No communication or reply from the government of the Philippines.
The legal team for Jared Allen Kasper sought answers by searching for any civil or criminal cases against him, what they found was no surprise:
As shown in the photo, records search prove that there was no justifiable or legal reason to detain him. His legal team in Manila then immediately drafted and filed a petition for HABEUS CORPUS with the high court in Manila.
What is HABEUS CORPUS? The “Great Writ” of habeas corpus is a fundamental right in the Constitution that protects against unlawful and indefinite imprisonment. Translated from Latin it means “show me the body.” Habeas corpus has historically been an important instrument to safeguard individual freedom against arbitrary executive power.
Constitutional and Human Rights - Denied by the government of the Philippines:
1. Jared Allen Kasper requested face to face meetings with his Attorney, and was repeatedly DENIED by the government of the Philippines.
2. He also requested to see a doctor for required treatment of his medical condition, as well as medication and was DENIED.
3. There was no running water or working restroom in the "Black site". Anytime he needed drinking water or bodily needs, guards would escort him downstairs to the passenger terminal, for only a minute and then he would be forced to return.
4. He requested to meet with a pastor or priest and was DENIED.
5. He was only allowed to "Shower" or clean his body on average of every 5 days. He was taken to a shower located in a construction site and allowed to clean his body under a trickle of water, using only soap fragments he found in the shower. With no towel to dry his body off, he was forced to use paper towels he took from the restroom in order to dry his body.
6. He was subjected to sleep deprivation techniques normally reserved for interrogations. Forced to sleep sitting up or laying on the chairs he pushed together, and under bright and intense light . The guards purposely made loud noises throughout the night to deprive him of any meaningful sleep.

He was not alone. This Chinese woman was held in the same area for many months and was suffering from neglect.
She spent her days talking to herself in Chinese, and often covered herself with a blanket. She cried a lot, according to his notes, and spoke very broken English. She told Mr. Kasper:
"They want to take me back to China. I want to seek asylum, because if they take me back to China, I will be tried as a spy and killed by the communist party. I flushed my passport on the plane from Bangkok so the government will not be alerted. I need help. Please take me to America."

The guards led the Chinese woman to the interior room. He heard the guards talking about an "injection". A few minutes afterwards, airport management ( their names and badges were recorded by Mr. Kasper for later reference) and Chinese government officials arrived. She was heard screaming and yelling in Chinese, then she went silent. He heard the guards laughing and taking selfies with her body. After that, he was forced into a different location, and the Chinese woman was never seen again. He noted
"My God, maybe I'm next." Concerned for his own safety, he found an internet connection when in the restroom in Terminal 1, and sent the photos and videos to his Attorney. His Attorney reported the horrific conditions and the presence of the Chinese woman to the High Court in Manila via formal legal manifestation.

The site was demolished once it became known by the High Court, and once the government was made aware of the manifestation.
Jared Allen Kasper was moved to a very small area (1.5 meters x 8 meters) publicly displayed within the passenger transit area of terminal 1. Not having a place to sleep, he lodged himself between the money changing booth and support wall.

After receiving calls from concerned citizens, the U.S. Embassy was able to make contact with Jared Allen Kasper during his detainment at Terminal 1, NAIA in Manila. He advised the U.S. Embassy that he was being held against his will, and that the government of the Philippines had confiscated his passport. The U.S. Embassy contacted the Bureau of Immigrations, who then lied to the Embassy staffer, stating that he had always been free to leave at anytime. The U.S. Embassy staffer facilitated his release.
Call logs and records provided by Jared Allen Kasper substantiate these facts.
In addition to contacting the U.S Embassy, the office of Governor Kevin Stitt was notified as well as U.S Senator Lankford's office.
Within hours, Jared Allen Kasper was given his passport and allowed to board a flight back to the United States. He sends his gratitude to all that were involved in his release, including the staff at the U.S. Embassy.
NOTE: The photo here was taken by Jared Allen Kasper during his final days at NAIA Terminal 1 in Manila. He was held in brutal conditions, in direct sunlight....in tremendous heat and inadequate ventilation near the outside glass facing the tarmac.
